TET, through learning and mastering the USA advanced technologies
of multi-high cold rolling mill, has developed twenty-high cold
rolling mill, which can roll high precession carbon steel, aly
steel, stainless steel and non-ferrous strip, the mill housing
will be integrated casting steel structure. The separating force
on working roll will be transferred to each backup bearing radically
through intermediate rolls. There are hydraulic screw-down system,
radial roll shape control system, axial roll shape control system
and roll diameter compensation control system.
Hydraulic screw-down system (roll opening control). It will
belong to backup bearing eccentricity screw-down mechanism and
consist of two hydraulic cylinders which will be installed in
the top of the mill. Link will drive rack engaged with sector
gear installed on "B" and "C" backup bearings to make the bearings
rotating.
Radial roll shape control system, it will consist of eccentricity
gear installed on "B" and "C" backup bearing, hydraulic cylinder
link and rack.. the cylinder will drive link and rack engaged
with eccentricity gear installed on "B" and "C" backup bearings
to make the bearing rotating for roll shape control to warrant
the flatness of strip and widthwise thickness tolerance.
Axial roll shape control system, the opposite ends of top/bottom
two pairs of first intermediate rolls will be machined as taper.
They will be driven by hydraulic cylinder or electrical motor
to shift axially opposite direction to change their coincidence
length with working rolls for controlling edge shape of strip.
Roll diameter compensation control system. It consists of four
backup bearing("A" "H" "D" and "E") installed outside mill.
The eccentricity cylindrical gears will be installed on them
and driving these gears will be able to get purpose of roll
diameter compensation control.
